Aly Stiles Has Done It Again with Crashing East: My Review

MY REVIEW: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have loved every book in the Save Me series and Crashing East is no exception. Every single one of these stories are emotional page-turners that will get you right in the feels and leave you wanting more.

If you've read any of Aly Stiles books, then you know that no one can write a rock star romance like she can. Her stories are more realistic (I think) than a lot of the rock star stories out there, with a real emphasis on the music, and I love that. In Crashing East, the focus is on an up and coming band which includes a former pop sensation and their lead guitarist Julian who is trying to find his way after his previous band crashed and burned. To add to Julian's troubles, he's been left to care for his pre-teen niece and she's not making his life easy. Enter Hadley, Julian's neighbor and his new bandmember's best friend/assistant. From enemies to friends to maybe more, we get to see Julian and Hadley's relationship evolve and grow as they both realize that their first impressions of each other may have been deceiving.

Crashing East is a well told story of rising from rock bottom, learning to find hope and happiness after a tragic loss, finding your own way and creating your own family. I loved the relationship between Julian and Hadley, and I absolutely adored Julian's niece. Young Naomi stole so many scenes and brought me to tears more than once.

This book could be read as a stand-alone; however, the characters from the other books in this series do make appearances here, and the stories are all so good that I suggest reading them all.
