My Review of A Bridge Between Us
A Bridge Between Us by K.K. Allen is the beautifully written story of two families who are enemies due to a century old feud. Camila and Ridge meet on the bridge that separates their family's properties when they are young teens. They know that their families hate each other and they know that any friendship between them will be forbidden, but that doesn't stop them from forming a friendship anyway. Camila is determined to change history and end the feud that neither of them understand once she is old enough to take over her father's vineyard, but her relationship with Ridge must be kept in secret and there are hidden dangers that put everything, including Camila's life, at risk.
A Bridge Between Us is very well told with incredible attention to details. This is a first and forever love story that is angst-filled with a touch of suspense, and the relationship between Camila and Ridge (which spans over decades) and is well developed. They have a long road to happiness with many twists and turns along the way, but you'll enjoy being along for the ride.
